  Plural Nouns in German Language

  Different Plural Things
  There are three primary gatherings of plural things.
  Things finishing off with - E
  The dative is - or EN. A few things likewise use umlauts.

  • Things finishing off with - trama center
    This gathering of things is manly or fix. To pluralize, add - (- in the dative case). Umlauts can change.

  • Plural things finishing off with - N/EN
    These things might be pluralized in each of the four cases by adding - (n) or en. These words are principally ladylike and have no umlaut changes.

  • Plural things finishing off with - S:
  The pluralization of these things is like English, in that it adds - s. The majority of these words are unfamiliar, so there is no umlaut change.

  • Things without endings:
  In the plural, the word endings for things that fall into this class are equivalent to in the particular with the exception of when the dative is utilized. Umlauts can change.
